How tro tackle Symptoms of Herpes in women
Women's bodily functions are no different from men when it comes to protecting themselves from any infection. This only differs for certain parts of the body that are gender specific. It is for this reason that when a particular virus, like herpes in women occurs, it is only natural that the body fights back the same way as men.

Herpes in women is less-infectious. There is no known significant answer why this is. Women are less likely to cause infection to a sexual partner. In spite of these findings, a woman that already has herpes may have to suffer alone.
There are a large number of women, about 20% to 25%, that are infected with the herpes virus. The number may seem impossible, but it is true. The virus has a distinct clandestine behavior; it can lay dormant for a very long time and the woman may not realize that she has herpes. However, that is not the only fact about herpes. The following are just some of the other facts about the virus.
" Pregnant women that are diagnosed with herpes should not be afraid. It is unusual for herpes to infect their fetus as well. The definite number of actual babies that have been infected by their mother is not even one percent.
" A mother that has been infected by the virus prior to their pregnancy is more likely to give birth to a baby that is uninfected, since it has antibodies that were passed on to the newborn at some point in the pregnancy to protect the infant from all kinds of infections.

" Contrary to what written above, it is also said that a mother in her third trimester who has acquired herpes is likely to be a candidate to transmit the disease to the baby. This is due to the short period of time to raise the antibodies that are passed to the newborn infant
The option of having children even if the woman is diagnosed with herpes is not restricted, as long as the mother will follow all guidelines given to her by her doctor before and during the time of the pregnancy.
It is recommended to continually use protection whenever the woman has sexual intercourse to make sure their partner is protected against potential infection
